Shipping Information
We do our best to get your sourdough starter on its way as quickly as possible so you can start baking.
In most cases, orders are packed and shipped within 1 business day, provided the product is in stock. During busy periods, this may occasionally take a little longer, but we’ll always aim to get your order out promptly.
Where We Ship
We ship Australia-wide and also offer international shipping to selected countries.
For Australian orders, shipping is currently free, however this may change in the future depending on carrier rates and logistics costs.
Delivery & Tracking
All orders are shipped with Australia Post.
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow your parcel as it makes its way to you.
Delivery timeframes will vary depending on your location and are based on standard Australia Post delivery estimates.
Delays & Issues
Once your order has been handed over to Australia Post, delivery times are outside of our control. Occasionally delays can occur due to high shipping volumes, weather events, or carrier disruptions.
If your order appears delayed or hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please get in touch with us and we’ll help investigate and resolve it for you.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your parcel is marked as delivered but cannot be located, or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at support@theancientgrain.com.au.
We’ll work with Australia Post to investigate the issue and find a resolution as quickly as possible.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and product and send them to us so we can assist you.
We’ll assess the situation and arrange a replacement where appropriate.
